Vintage Vinyl

Vintage Vinyl is a local record shop in Fords, New Jersey. This identity redesign is inspired by the punk-rock aesthetic of the shop. The round logo is made to replicate a jacket patch. The double V in the center of the logo combines the iconic imagery of guitar picks and lightning bolts, while also making a unique statement as the initials of the store’s name. The repeating line pattern resembles the ridges of a vinyl record, as well as the vibration of music and the energy of punk-rock.
